After presenting outstanding programs in music, theater and films for over 2 years, CalAA is proud to launch its venture in Television. CalAA-TV has started its TV program titled "Mood India" on Mountain View's public access TV station KMVT-15 (Ch 15) from Wednesday, June 2, 2004.
"Mood India" will present programs covering Indian Classical Music (Instrumental and Vocal), Dance, Theater and all other Performing Arts. Mood India's inaugural show featured Sitar recital by Prasad Joglekar. The program also featured informal lecture/demonstration with questions and answers with Compere Chinmoy Bhagawat. Abhinay Padhye accompanied on Tabla.
The entire TV production crew for this show consists of enthusiastic CalAA olunteers who have completed Studio Production course at KMVT-15. CalAA Volunteers Vivek Datar and Abhinay Padhye are conceptualizing the presentations in music.
